Structural Timber Association - Assure Gold
Your project should be responsibly procured via a member of the Structural Timber Association (STA) with a minimum Silver or preferably Gold Member status. Point1 are proud to be a Structural Timber Association member and have been awarded STA Assure Gold. This is the STA's highest accreditation and it highlights the levels of our quality procedures, our management systems and our product performance standards.
It also offers reassurances for our customers, suppliers and associates giving them confidence that we meet or even exceed current legislation and regulatory requirements.
Site Safe Accredited User
Point1 Building Systems Ltd are accredited users of the STA Site Safe policy which ensures members have processes for fire safety, during construction, on all structural timber building systems. It's mandatory for STA membership to be independently audited, offering reassurance to insurance companies, customers, and warranty bodies. All of which ensures that our construction is both safe and sustainable.
The policy ensures that manufacturing members, suppliers, and erectors of structural timber building systems collaborate closely with customers to provide clear, concise information and assistance on fire safety at construction sites of all sizes. The STA Site Safe policy applies to all working members and requires information provision at the tender stage.

Key Building Warranty Providers now insist that your supplier have a quality management system, such as ISO9001-2015.

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification)
PEFC chain of custody certification provides independent, verified assurance that the certified forest based material contained in a product, originates from sustainably managed forests.
Point1 Building Systems Ltd are audited and independently checked by the PEFC to ensure that we are obtaining our timber materials and the products made from timber from reputable sources. There is a clear line of sight throughout the chain of custody to identify timber from the forest floor to the product used in the projects we build - which can be traced back to its source.
Kingspan TEK™ Building system
Kingspan is the global leader in high performance insulation and building envelope solutions.
Their brand name for the Industry leading Structural insulated panel systems (SIPS) which Point1 Building Systems use to build SIPS projects is Kingspan TEK™. It can be used to form wall and roof structures as part of a whole house building system.
BBA - British Board of Agrément
The Kingspan TEK™ Building System has third-party accreditation and holds a BBA Agrément Certificate ref 02/S029.
This is particularly important from the perspective of Mortgage. Lenders or Building Warranty Providers.
